PSY* E290 - Forensic Psychology (3 credits) Code(s): BHEL Prerequisite(s): PSY* E111 and ENG* E102 or permission of instructor. Throughout the semester we will analyze and reflect in depth on such issues as Profiling, Eyewitness Testimony, Capital Punishment, Insanity Defense, False Confessions, Innocence, and Domestic Violence, and Sexual Offenders. In examining these issues we will explore multiple perspectives (specifically related to offenders), examine real life cases, and analyze multiple moral and ethical perspectives.
