GRA* E202 - Typography (3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): GRA* E111 and GRA* E151
A course that builds on the knowledge and skills developed in GRA* 151, and broadens it’s focus to include the use of typography in design solutions. Students will learn typographic anatomy, identification, measurement, terminology, specification, and classification. Students will learn to create hierarchy, and navigation in designing with type. This course will include traditional design studio practices and the use of contemporary Adobe software on a MAC computer, and design visual architecture for multiple platforms.
